Code of Conduct

The Code of Conduct describes the way we want to behave towards each other and the values important to us as a company.

The Code of Conduct below contains the most important rules of conduct. To put it in a nutshell, We do not strive for profit at any cost, but rather want to achieve our goals by acting responsibly, transparently and lawfully.

Our activities
We are responsible, truthful and reliable in all of our activities.

As employees of SwissSalary Ltd., we are aware of the responsibility towards our stakeholders. We act with foresight and take responsibility for our activities. We are truthful and transparent. We also mean what we say. And we are reliable because we keep our promises. We constantly check and have it checked whether we are actually doing what has been announced. We are aware that we can also be associated with SwissSalary Ltd. in private life. We take this into account in our statements and our actions.

Laws and regulations
We respect the law and internal regulations.

The laws of Switzerland and the cantons form the basis and framework for our activities. In addition, we observe the internal regulations and the standards we have voluntarily committed to. We know the rules applicable to us and consistently adhere to them.

Bribery
We do not bribe and do not let ourselves be bribed.

Our services are based on truthfulness and quality. We therefore reject all forms of bribery or other kinds of corruption.

We expressly do not grant any undue advantages to business partners to secure an order or to public officials to act or to abstain from an official act or to merely maintain relationships. Nor do we accept such undue advantages to ourselves. Moreover, we do not use third parties to engage in corrupt practices.

As an exception, we can accept minor courtesy gifts or invitations that are customary in the business. We always adhere to our internal regulations.

Fair competition
We declare our firm commitment to free and fair competition.

As a success and performance-oriented company, SwissSalary Ltd. is committed to a free market economy and advocates fair competition with its competitors. It is a matter of course for us that we comply with anti-trust law.

We make our business decisions on a factual basis and without any discrimination. We strictly reject any agreements on price, quantity, markets, regions or customers that restrict competition. We always adhere to our internal regulations.

Conflict of interest
We avoid conflicts of interest or disclose them in due time.

Objectivity is central to our work. Personal interests are not taken into account. For this reason, we always try to avoid conflicts between our personal interests and the interests of SwissSalary Ltd..

We disclose constellations that pose the risk of actual or potential conflicts of interest within SwissSalary. If, in exceptional cases, a conflict of interest cannot be avoided, we will take appropriate precautions so that the conflict does not have a detrimental effect on SwissSalary Ltd.

We expressly disclose personal or financial interests in suppliers, competitors or other third parties that could influence the objectivity of our work internally. We always act cautiously, so that mandates that we hold outside of SwissSalary Ltd. are in accordance with our internal regulations and do not conflict with the interests of SwissSalary Ltd.

Confidential information
We deal with confidential information conscientiously.

We come into contact with information and trade secrets in our work. We always use information that we acquire in the context of our business activities conscientiously and only to the extent permitted and for business reasons.

In particular, we do not make confidential information and trade secrets accessible to unauthorized persons, either internally or externally. Also, we do not misuse such information either for unjustified personal or third-party benefits.

We treat our customers’, our employees’ and our business partners’ personal data with particular confidence and take appropriate safety precautions. We strictly adhere to data protection principles.

We take care of SwissSalary Ltd. assets.

Our business is based on our company’s assets. We treat them carefully and responsibly. We protect them from loss and damage and only use them for the legitimate purposes of SwissSalary Ltd. We do not accept fraudulent or other illegal acts against the assets.

We are also responsible for securing the existing intellectual property in a suitable form and protecting it from loss. This includes our brands, our patents, and also our know-how. At the same time, we respect the intellectual property of others.

We keep our books of account in accordance with generally accepted, professional accounting standards. We are responsible for ensuring proper, complete, transparent and timely recording of all corporate transactions in our business books.

In SwissSalary Ltd. we treat each other with appreciation and respect.

In SwissSalary Ltd. we work together as partners. We arrange our encounters respectfully, fairly and humanely. We strive to create a motivating and performance-oriented working atmosphere characterized by personal responsibility.

Safety and health are our top priority. We comply with the labor and health regulations and share responsibility for creating a safe and healthy work environment.

We stand for gender equality and equal treatment of people of different origins or backgrounds. Harassment or discrimination of any kind will not be accepted either in the workplace or outside of SwissSalary Ltd. We respect each other’s privacy and personal integrity.

We are a reliable, fair and responsible partner for our customers, business partners, employees, and also for the authorities.

We form the foundation for trust and reliability with the quality and safety of our products and services. For this reason, we make no compromises when it comes to this. We react promptly and appropriately to deficiencies.

We behave fairly and reliably towards our business partners and employees. We place internal and external orders based on objective and comprehensible criteria.

We always behave correctly when dealing with authorities. We avoid any attempt to improperly influence official decision-making.

Communication
Our communication is open, honest and clear.

SwissSalary Ltd. establishes open, honest and clear communication with customers, employees and business partners. When we face uncomfortable questions, we do not avoid them.

Our high demands on communication also apply to marketing. We communicate transparently and not deceptively as regards our products and services.

Reaction to violations

Violations of this Code of Conduct must be reported to the line manager to ensure that suitable actions are taken. If there is reason to assume that the supervisor themself is involved in the wrongful act or is aware of it, employees can contact the management directly. Alternatively, violations can be reported to Legal and Compliance department. Reports are always treated here as confidential.

Discrimination or retaliation of any kind against employees who in good faith report a violation of this Code of Conduct or refuse to participate in a violation will not be tolerated.
