In the next few days you will receive an automated mail from Microsoft with the following title:
Your Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment has been scheduled for an update.

 

Microsoft's ERP solution 'Dynamics 365 Business Central' will receive the next bi-annual update of version 18 or 2021 release Wave 1. Over the next two months, your solution will automatically be upgraded from the previous version 17.x to the new version 18.0. You do not have to do anything unless you want to determine the time of the update yourself. As a global administrator or as a Dynamics 365 administrator, you can postpone the date (day and time), at most until 15 June 2021. As a rule, this manual intervention is absolutely unnecessary.
